EAT #2 - Breakfast in Posto Pubblico
This time I didn’t get lost or anything, I picked this place to have breakfast. Actually, I’ve heard so many good things about Posto Pubblico, so I think it doesn’t hurt to have a breakfast there. I was impressed when I first walked into the restaurant. I was amused by the interior, the design was beautiful. The decoration made me feel like i was in some European country. Right after my mom and I sat down, we’ve ordered Cappuccinos ($40 each). (*Cappuccino is known as a morning drink in Europe) Then it took me quite a while to pick what I want to eat, too many choices. Then I picked the egg benedict ($100) and my mom picked omelet with mushroom, spinach and ham ($80).
The poached egg was perfectly done, the “lava” was nice and smooth, not over cooked. I was impressed with the bacon. It was real crispy. Overall the egg benedict was delightful. Then the egg omelet was a little bit salty. However, the spinach and mushroom were fresh enough. They shouldn’t have put too much salt into it.
Anyway, this morning glory costed us $360, with NO service charge. I would be keen to go there again. It’s a nice atmosphere to hang out and have some treats with friends.
Posto Pubblico is on 28 Elgin St, Central, Hong Kong. Check out more on their website, http://www.postopubblico.com/

Loving the whole foggy setting of London. I think it makes London looks even more mysterious and classy.
